Good Morning!
Ive been driving myself NUTS trying to find PLAIN tapers or plumbers candles at a wholesale price. I want to prim them myself and I cant find what Im looking for.
Can anyone help me? Know of a site that sells them for a fairly reasonable price?
Thanks much

New Prims
WOW - what a beautiful day eh?
I am in shock, cant believe it!!!!!!
We're usually colder up here by the lake but today is simply beautiful.
Unfortunately we're stuck inside. Dom is sick AGAIN, with ANOTHER ear infection and breathing trouble. I got him into the Drs 1st thing this morning and she sent us home with SIX scripts including steroids. If you know me, you know my feelings on steroids and two yr olds!! Needless to say, we have an apt with a specialist on Mon who will hopefully say to put tubes in his ears. Hes had EIGHT, yep 8 (ya read it right) ear infection since Jan 08, 4 of them being from Feb 09 - TODAY!
We were up ALL night last night crying and in pain. Wasn't a good night!!!!!
I finished up a few freebie patterns, one from SweetPeas Prims and one from Simple Thyme - both of which I love!

Well Ive got some things to do so I should get to gettin!!!
You ALL have a wonderful weekend!

Do you know?
Happy Sunday!
Just wondering if anyone knows what type of bird this is?
This guy has been visiting my feeders for a few weeks now and EVERYtime Ive tried to take pics something scares him away.
I wait EVERY morning around 8:30 and just yesterday we noticed there were TWO of them!
The red on them is SO pretty and bright. We've searched the web and bird books and can not narrow it down to the right species.
So, if anyone knows it would be great to solve the mystery that has been eating at me for weeks.

Another finish! - UPDATED April 21st
I just finished up these lil sweeties, they are the faceless americana angel from Kim Kohler.
I have so much fun with her patterns!!!

I havent decided if I want to keep them or list on Yankee Ridge Prims, I suppose if I got enough interest Ill list them and make them a made to order item.
I hope you are all enjoying Spring break and the "warmer" weather - still pretty chilly here!
Congrats to Linda on her 1yr blogiversary:)
I have had quite a few emails asking about this pretty so I decided to list on Yankee Ridge Prims as a custom order item. If youre interested, please send me an email at yankeeridgeprimitives@yahoo.com, please allow at least a week for me to complete. Payment is not required until she is completed!

A few more finishes
Good Morning Blog Pals!
Looks to be a nice day here in NY!
I just wish it was a teeny bit warmer so Dom and I could get outside!
I'm afraid to take him out with his ears just yet!
These are a few more prims Ive been working on.
I think Uncle Hare is my favorite so far. Again, a Kim Kohler pattern!

And this is a custom order for my SIL.
This is a Drakestone Primitives Country Cabin Pattern
Shes a tiny lil cupboard doll

Thank you for your wonderful comments on my Uncle Sam Pledge Doll.
I had ALOT of fun watching him come to life and decided to make a few more:)
Janene - Ive got about 5 hours into him. I know I'm slow:) BUT I'm super crazy about making sure everything looks JUST SO, and that takes me a little longer. If something happens to not turn out, like his eyes or nose, I start over until I do get it right. So yeah - it takes me a little longer:)
Well I'm taking a much needed craft break this Easter weekend starting TODAY! Ive got some baked goods that need my attention for dinner on Sunday and we're going to color eggs today.
You all have a wonderful Easter and a great weekend!

Uncle Sam Pledge Doll
Just wanted to quick post and show ya what I just finished!
He is a Kim Kohler design, I just love love love her patterns!

His beard isn't really that white.
I think the contrast with my wall color and Uncle Sam being so dark is why!
Ill be listing him on my selling blog later this evening.
HAVE A GREAT EASTER!

Goodies in the mail!
Hi Everyone!
It seems like I haven't posted in forever! Been mega busy but Ill get to that later.
First I want to show what came in the mail for my yesterday!
A few weeks back I purchased a pattern from Alice of Wilmas Wimzees, she emailed to let me know I had been entered in the Trinkets 2 Treasures giveaway, so I quick jumped over to their blog to see what the giveaway was all about!
WOW!!!
There was a TON of goodies!!
I never thought I would win so I forgot all about it until last week!
Bette from Bette's Tomorrows Treasures emailed to let me know I WAS THE WINNER!
OMGOSH, I was so excited!!!
I could hardly stand it but waited as patient as I could for my basket of goodies to arrive!
This is a list of my goodies that was included:)
Ewe N Me Printables -- CD collection of printable tags, bookmarks and printable tags
Wilmas Wimzees -- Shabby n Chic bowl fillers
Ragdollz -- Bunny and Chenille Egg
Snugglebug Blessins -- Primitive Mouse
The End Peace -- Charm Bracelet
Folk Art From The Heart -- $20 Gift Certificate
Tomorrows Treasures - Basket and Eggs
Bead and Knit -- Fingerless Gloves
Silicone Bulb Shoppe -- Easter Silicone Bulbs
Sassy Soaps N Such -- Bunny Bowl Fillers
AuntieB56 -- Framed Needle Punch Bunny Picture
Mamaws Creations -- Bunny In A Carrot
Print and Sew -- Americana Feedsack Bag
WOW, right?!! I'm STILL drooling over my goodies!

Kindle snatched up my charm bracelet and gloves before I could snap a pic so Ill get those later. Make sure you check out these lovely, very talented ladies etsy shops!
Onto some other good news, I am officially Yankee Ridge Primitives, registered with the state of NY! I have my business license!!! This was a BIG BIG step for me as I wasn't sure which way my crafting was going to go. I have been selling a few things wholesale and have decided to stop doing that after I finish up this last order and rent a booth at a local shop full time! Wholesale just isn't making me any money and I put ALOT of time and love into my prims. Its one of those things that when someone likes your work and asks if you wholesale they try to get the cheapest price out of you. They really don't understand the cost of supplies and the work that goes into each item! So NO MORE wholesale for me:)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I also want to let you all know I DO visit you daily, I just don't have the time to comment right now! Between getting Bella dressed and ready for school, my daily household duties, taking care of Domonic and crafting which seems like I do ALL day long, there is just no time right now!
As soon as I finish up this last order I should have some free time!
Have a great weekend and a great Easter - don't think I'll make it back before then!
