Make over and a new build!

What a way to bring in September eh?
WOW!

Yeah - so Im REALLY ready for fall! Not so much the bone chilling cold but everything else that is associated with fall!

I just wanted to post my newest make over!

Remember this hutch?

It went from that to this...

And here it is today! (with flash)

(without flash)

Jason framed in the shelf area for me a few weeks ago and we finally got around to getting it painted! WHAT a job that was!

This is his newest wall cupboard. I just love how it turned out with the black over the red - ALOT different than starting with black as a base!
They are both going into my shop tomorrow morning!

The inside is not really that bright red, I had to use my flash on this pic!!

Ill be back as soon as I can with a few new prims as Im working on swap gifts right now:)

Ohhhh Witchy Poo!!!

Can you believe September is just about here?
I cant!

Im already working on Christmas dolls and prims! I gotta ahead, last yr I about killed myself after Halloween so I want to be prepared this year!

This is one of my very last witches of 2010.
She is VERY VERY large.

She is sitting on a large candle base that I screwed into a wooden base for extra support.

She is made from stained muslin.
Her eyes were hand painted with acrylics.
Her broom is made from honeysuckle vine which is wrapped with a star garland that I made for a more rustic look.

See her spider up there?

She will come signed and dated.

$52 plus shipping. PLEASE email me for a shipping cost as she is a large heavy girl and will require a large box, which means postage will be on the high side!

Spindella and Crescent

She even has the witchy hair to match her witchy'ness:)

She is made from a Kim Kohler pattern.

I gotta tell ya, if you havent made one of her designs, get over to her site and check out her patterns. I literally have a BALL while making her dolls. I sit there and giggle the whole time Im painting on their face!!

She is made from stained muslin. Her dress is made from a wicked glittery spider fabric. Her hat is a fabric covered paper cone.
I hand painted her face with acrylics.

She measures aprox 27" long from the tip of her hat down to her witchy feet.

Crescent is made from painted muslin, also with hand painted facial features.

New Fall Offerings

Justa real quick post tonite! I am exhausted and I dont know why!

Maybe its my body telling me that Fall is quickly approaching?!
An internal clock type of thing!?

I havent worked on too much this week, just didnt have it in me. Seems I lost my creativity AND inspiration somewhere between last weekend and Wed! Everytime I sat down to sew or draw up a design idea my mind just went blank! Not sure whats going on there but I dont like it....at all! I gotta hope and pray this passes quick.

I did manage to finish up this poor scarecrow, Edwin - as Domonic calls him!
Hes only been sitting on my table in pieces since the beginning of June...

And this Halloween Stocking

BOTH are available, made to order!

Have a great weekend!!!
