The Big Guy!

Ah, I bet you were thinking, "what did she make now"!!

Naw, I wanted to share this with you.

This is hubby's baby, Akivo Vektor! He is a black Milksnake, well he will be. He will eventually turn all black and get about 6' long. He has 3 snakes in total and Im pretty sure he wants to get more!! They dont bother me and I do hold them from time to time. Even the kids hold them!!
He is really cool looking as is this lil guy, Captain K'nuckles. He will stay smaller '3 tops. He is an Albino Nelsons Milksnake. Pretty huh?

Ummm... EEEEKKKK I think I would move out. LOL. Not too fond of snakes.

You have done a great job on your ornies!!! It is tough but each time you make something it'll get easier and better.

And... I enjoyed your 7 things about you tag. You never know when someone can identify with you. And let me just say there are several that I can say I do.

Now Jenn, you KNOW that I luv ya, but I am deathly afraid of snakes! LOL! You & Jason can have them all! hahaha!
I have a friend that loves them too and has several for pets, but she has to put them in cages in another room when I go visit her. Otherwise I'm afraid to go in the house!
Enjoy the rest of your weekednd!

My skin is still tingling, but they really are beautiful creatures, aren't they? Amazing how each species is so uniquely and differently coloured. You definitely can keep them though. Our high school had a reptile man in to the library to show the students. He asked our special needs kids, it took 6 of them, to hold a huge white one, forget the type. Pretty creepy, but they thought is was cool. At some points it had to have the circumference of a large dinner plate.

Just poking around and found your blog...love it! I like the ornies you are working on...need to get my butt moving! On the snake issue...you have solved a 'mystery' for me. I was gardening last year and moved a rock and there was a snake under it-like your first picture. I immediately thought,'Yikes! It's a coral snake!' (lol-I live in OHIO!) My dh tried to convince me it was a milksnake-I know I've seen many adult ones around here-but I never really believed him! LOL Thanks-I'm now breathing easier (miles and miles away from the ocean!) I'm gonna add you to my list so I don't forget to come back!
