Looooky What I Got:)

OMG, I am so excited! I could barely sleep last night!
Ive been wanting this little beauty for sometime now. Ive done ALOT of research on different brands, different features and different prices and chose a Canon Rebel XS.

Meet my baby, ha!

The most important thing for me when choosing a DSLR was how it felt when I was holding it and how heavy it was. The Canon seemed to be the most comfortable in my hand.

It was a big price tag but well worth it because I got 2 lenses, 2 batteries and a camera bag.

Here are 2 pics I took last night, one with my Kodak P&S -

And the same taken with my Canon -

I still have ALOT to learn when it comes to settings and shutter speeds, I'm hoping it will all come to me!

Jas was playing around with water and these are some shots he got -

If you're thinking of a DSLR I definitely recommend the Canon Rebel SX!!

Ive got a bedroom makeover to show in a few days. As soon as we're finished:)

Linda - The best price I found was ebay BUT I was afraid to go that way because of shipping quality and time, and warranty was a big factor. I actually got my cam, a telephoto lens, an extra battery and a carrying case all at Best Buy! It was expensive but worth it because if something were to happen I can just go back to the store and not have to worry about tracking down the ebay seller.
