Mothers Day GOODIES!

First let me thank you all for your prayers for Domonic.

His surgery lasted only 5 minutes, but it was the longest 5 minutes of my life!
He was released within 2 hours and was up running and playing by 3pm! Back to being a little boy:)

Everyone have a good Mothers Day? I see little Ava was welcomed on Saturday, congrats to you and your family Kath. Shes beautiful!!!!!
What an AWESOME Mothers Day gift eh?

We didnt do too much, my brother and his wife and family came over Sat to celebrate Kindles and Jasons birthday and drop off my newest "piece" edition.

This is hubby and my niece Emma

Sunday was an AWESOME day! My first Oriole of the year and he continued to visit my suet feeders throughout the afternoon. Last year he stopped for a few seconds and that was it! I STILL cant get over how vibrant his color is!

Ya like that lil sneak peak of my newest piece of furniture?
My brother Nick made this for me and I just love it!
Im just about done painting and its ready for my kitchen!

Its actually a big piece, it doesnt look that big painted.

WOW, is it my camera or do you guys notice it takes a LONG time uploading pics on here?

I love your new piece. My brother makes me lots of furniture too. The pieces are even more special since they are crafted by him especially for me.

So happy to hear that Dom's surgery went well! Glad mom made it through okay too. ha!
The piece your BIL made you looks exactly like the bottom piece of my mustard cupboard my sweetie made me years ago! I love mine. He had an old step-back cupboard top that we sat on top of it.
You'll love that for the storage in your kitchen.
Glad you had a nice mother's day!
Your Oriole is beautiful!

YEAH! kids are so resilient aren't they?!

Your cabinet is awesome! Lucky girl!

as for your pictures - you might want to size them down a bit before putting them on the blog - I clicked on one of them and it's a HUGE file size 1600px × 1067px - I would size it down at least by 1/2

great to hear the surgery went fine! I can imagine it seemed more like 5 hours to you!
BTW any chance your brother wants to go to Australia for a holiday? If he makes me a lovely cupboard like that, I'd glady put him up for a while!
