Three years ago today!

A Memorial to my mom, Linda

Your time on earth was far too short, only 59 years. Our lives are not as full, our hearts are heavy because we miss you in this life. We know, that one day, we will see your face again and feel your arms around us, holding us tight. We know that you are sitting at the feet of our Heavenly Father, no more pain or sorrow there.

Life is but a stopping place,

A pause in what's to be,

A resting place along the road,

to sweet eternity.

We all have different journeys,

Different paths along the way,

We all were meant to learn some things,

but never meant to stay...

Our destination is a place,

Far greater than we know.

For some the journey's quicker,

For some the journey's slow.

And when the journey finally ends,

We'll claim a great reward,

And find an everlasting peace,

Together with the lord.

I miss ya mom!!

Jenn i feel your sorrow. My mom passed when she was 56 and my dad when he was 59. It is so hard to loose them at such an early age. I miss them dearly just as you do. My mom passed on Nov 9th 1993 and in April of 1994 i found out i had breast cancer which made it even harder for her not to be there. I was only 36 when she passed and 39 when my dad passed so they were taken to early from me but i know that someday i will be back with them again as you with your mom. I want to wrap my arms around you and give you a great big hug.

Only happened upon your blog today when going through some papers I picked up during a recent RV trip. What a moving tribute to a lady who had to have been a wonderful Mother. Cherish your memories and always hold them close to your heart!

Bless you and your family! Judy

Your post brought me to tears. I can feel your sarrow and hurt.

I'm blessed to still have my Mother, she'll be 84 in Jamuary.
I talk to her every day, and can't bare the thought of losing her or my Father.

Blessings,
Linda

Jenn, a very nice tribute to your mother. I know how you feel, as I lost my mother last summer and she was 68. Far to young to go. Just remember her and the good times. It is tough, I do know....

Thinking about you my sweet friend. Unfortunately this is another thing we have in common, since we have both lost our Mom way too soon.
I know your Mom is so proud of the Mom you are and of the woman you have become. She is still with you, just in a different way.
Judy's poem is beautiful and a very sweet & loving tribute to your precious Mom.
Be good to yourself and know that you are loved by many. And if you need to talk, you know where to find me.

Hi Jenn, Beautiful tribute to your mom. What a quantity of common things we had with other girls in the blog land. I feel your sorrow, my mom passed 3 years ago, when she was 60 and my dad 16 yrs ago when he was 47. They are hard times, loose them at such an early age. I miss them every day, especially my mom because is too recently and my kids talks about her all the time.

What a beautiful piece Jenn. I bet your mom was something special. Know that I am thinking of you today. I am still blessed to have my mother with me but it has been 17 months without my daddy. I don't think the pain ever really goes away but their memories are what keeps us going.
Lots of Hugs,
AMY

Jenn,
Keepin' you in my thoughts and prayers. I know how you are feelin as I too lost my mom at a young age. She was 54 I was 21 and had just had my youngest son. He was a month old when she passed. It gets a lil easier with time but not a day goes by that you don't think of them or something happens to bring wonderful memories of them. I am sending you the biggest hug my dear and know you are in many's thoughts and prayers this day.
