Chocolate Covered Rum Cherries
Pitted with stems on Cherries, I get the gallon size
Rum - light or dark
Milk Chocolate
Drain about 3/4 of cherry juice and fill with rum. The longer you let these soak the better they are.
Melt milk chocolate in double boiler, drain cherries. Save juice for drinks:)
Pat dry with paper towel. Dip in chocolate, place on wax paper lined cookie sheet to dry. I just store mine in a container on the counter. They are SO good, but after a few you will start to feel it:)

Jenn, you lucky girl gonna get snow. If we get snow it will be a miracle. We are sitting at 50 degrees right now at 6 am. I dont know how next week will be, but I sure do hope we dont have 60 degree weather for Christmas.
Send some my way!! LOL

Yummy! You are making me hungry. I want some cookies and snow!
Buttermilk cookies! That sounds so tasty. I will have to try them. I love snow too for a minute. When we usually get it it's gone the next day so that's okay. I don't like being confined to the house unless I want to. Deb
