Have ya ever felt froggy? Im feeling kinda froggy this morning!
Dom and I are just getting over a nasty head cold. Thankfully I was able to move yesterday to start AND finish Mr Frog. So I wanted to sneak in a quick peak at Doms Mr. Frog cake! I started with a nice Wilton 18 tip decor on him but my frosting kept melting and running down so I decided to just smooth it all out! I had to keep cooling him down in the fridge every few minutes and was having a breakdown about it. Then I realized kids dont care about all of that, right?
He is SO excited he wouldnt go to sleep last night, ha!
We're headed outside to get everything ready for his party and find a few froggy friends:)
Ill post party pics tonite!

Isn't Dom a lucky kid....his mama made him a froggy cake! That's better than ANY store bought cake! My mom used to do stuff like this for us: bunnies, trucks, shirt w/bow tie, all kinds of stuff. Once she made a cake in a bowl. Cut out the middle and stuck a Barbie doll in the center. Then she frosted up the cake like a dress...beautiful
Hope lil' Dom had a Hoppy...I mean "Happy" Birthday!
You did a great job on his cake!
I think that homemade one's are the best kind!
