Good Morning!
Nothing better than a hot cup of coffee and a few sour cream cookies on a chilly rainy morning!
~~~~Sour Cream Cutouts~~~~
1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 cup sour cream
2 tsp vanilla
3 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
In a large mixing bowl cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Add sour cream and vanilla, mix well. Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda, add to butter mixture and mix well. Chill dough at least 2 hours, overnight is even better. Roll on HEAVILY floured board, dough is sticky! Cut with cookie cutters or drop by rounded tablespoon. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Cool. I frost with Betty Crocker cream cheese frosting, store cookies in the fridge.
ENJOY!
