My 1st attempt at ornies

Haha! Im trying!

Ive been wanting a sewing machine for SO long JUST to make myself some snowman ornies.

Well, I had this crazy notion that I was going to get my sewing machine and jump RIGHT in and make prims. There are SO MANY talented bloggers who have inspired me with their creations, that I was on the ..... "I want that, I want this" kick! But since my accident I just dont have the money.

SO, I decided Im going to TRY to make some things.

Please overlook my mistakes, this was my VERY first time sewing but I am getting better, I can prove it:) BUT keep in mind that I did get my machine on Sunday, 4 days ago:) Needless to say I am behind on EVERYTHING!!!!

My 1st attempt at ornie making -

And my 2nd -

And today, I whipped this little baby out! I am so proud of myself. I just have to stuff it with some greens and some snowmen!

:)
The Secret Santa Swap is off to a great start. Remember ladies, $20 limit and goodies must be mailed out on Friday November 21! I CANT wait:)
I also had some left over salt dough so I made up a few icicles, now I just need to decide if I want to dip them in wax or paint them?? Any suggestions?

I think you did a GREAT job on these ornies. I especially love the stars. Don't see how you can get much better than these.
