More so than usual! The car has been leaking antifreeze and Jason was unable to fix himself so Tues he took it into the shop! On top of everything else, now this added to my worries! Its something with the intake or head gasket and isnt worth fixing. My mom gave me this car when she found out she was at stage 4 cancer and had to quit working. It has over 280,000 miles on it but still runs like a dream and looks good. Unfortunetly this problem would cost over $700 to fix and just isnt worth it with the amount of mileage. Times are tought right now, BIGTIME! Jason has a decent paying job, GREAT medical and dental, sick leave, paid Holidays and 3 weeks vaca per yr. He works with the Engineering Dept on electronics for Nasa and the Army BUT with pretty much one income we're hurting!
With the Holidays coming and now THIS I am SO depressed! We really cant afford to take on a loan, we're just pulling through as it is.
I havent really posted much because I am SO down and Im hitting my 100th post soon, 2 away!
I do have a little something planned but its not much so I still hope youll check back and enter my giveaway!
Sometimes I just need to get things off of my chest and what better way to do that than with blogging. Im sure some is TMI for some of you!
Domonic is also struggling with asthma, poor guy!! We spent 3 hours in the ER last night because he couldnt breath. Imagine how scary that is for a 2 yr old. I had to have Jason come home early from work yesterday to take us. He had a breathing treatment, meds to bring his fever down and a chest Xray! They sent us home with Amoxicillin for an ear infection and Albuterol syrup!
I called his Dr today to get him in because he was up ALL night coughing and throwing up from caughing and still having trouble breathing. He did NOT have an ear infection and she was VERY suprised they gave him Albuterol syrup!! So she sent us home with a breathing machine and Prednisolone (steroids). I have a BIG problem with giving kids steroids and this is his 2nd bottle since Sept so I am making him an apt with an Ears, Nose and Throat specialist. Im sorry, I just DONT believe this is asthma!! The green discharge from his nose tells me its an infection of some sort triggering asthma symptoms!
Anyhow, if I dont post for a while, youll know why. As soon as we figure things out with this car deal and pray to God that we find another within the next few days somehow Ill be back to my old self:)

Seems like the saying when it rains it pours is so true. I know for us when something goes wrong I hold my breath cause it seems like something else always happens. I get very down over situations like this and my husband is the non-worrier in our house. Just trust God, tomorrow is a new day and He will provide all your needs.
Hang in there. I completely understand how heavy this all is and these days everything feels so hard. I hope little Domonic feels better soon. Poor guy. Poor mommy. It doesn't just sound like asthma to me either. Green usually means some sort of infection, but of course I am by no means a doctor. I will say a prayer that he gets better soon and that you guys find a new car. I am here if you ever need anything. Take care and I send lots of love.
Hugs,
Kim
Jenn, I feel so bad for you. It's such an awful feeling to be down in the dumps. Your poor little Dom. I hope the docs can figure out what is wrong with him. I know what you ean about the Prednisone, my mom was on it for a long time for emphysema & there are alot of side effects. I will keep your family in my prayers. Take care.

I am so sorry to hear of all of the troubles you have been having. It is so sad when someone so young is sick and nobody seems to know what it is. Makes one feel so helpless!
By all means, vent away! That is what you have all of these blog friends for. It some how makes you feel better to open up and get it all off of your shoulders. It does for me!
You and your family are in my prayers.
Take care~

Hi Jenn thats what we are here for to lean on each other in times of trouble!! I pray God will open a door quickly for a new car and that the doctors will find out quickly what is going on and get him on the road to recovery quickly!!! Take care my friend and come and vent anytime!! Wendy
Hey Jenn - I know how awful it feels to have the dumps. I hope the Dr. can find why the Dommers is getting sick so much.

I hope everything will start looking up real soon...it has to right??? I know it will...
I feel so bad for Domonic...it is so hard when the little ones are so sick and there is nothing we can do to take away their bo-bo's go away. My oldest daughter went mis-diagnosed for a year before they discovered she has sever sinus problems. They kept blaming her tonsils but her sinuses are so bothered and like you said, green stuff comes out. But our name has been in for almost a year now to see a specialist and no calls yet...IMAGINE!!! I am afraid she will need surgery sooner then later because it causes migraines and she also tells me that she has so much pressure that her face hurts. It starts around Sept and goes right up to about April-May but then allergies start up with Spring. Poor thing...
I hope you will find real soon what the problem is with him...I will be thinking of you and your little guy...and will keep you guys in my thoughts.
Sandy
Aww Jenn! I'm so sorry you're going through all this! You're in my prayers hon, and your little boy. Hang in there!

Jenn; sorry to hear about all this; I know it will get better in time; you just have to believe that; this thing with the baby is a scary one; I know that! Its hard to be upbeat when everything seems to be going wrong; but look how many friends you have here; if you need me just holler! you were there for me and I will be there for you! Talk to you soon; Merrie
Jenn, i am sorry to hear you are feeling so low...sadly, it seems everything hits us at once {almost like a test isn't it?}.
Just letting you know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Keep your chin up...it will work out somehow in the end.
luv Ann.xx
Jenn,
Im so sorry to hear about everything. I sooo hope Domonic gets to feelin better. It does seem like everything hits at one time dont it? I hope things get better for you and everyone.
Things are tight around here too. With both of us working we still have a hard time making ends meet. And to tell the truth some months we just dont. I mean I gotta feed my kids. So I know exactly what you mean and how you feel.
I said just the other day, that I know Im in a state of depression. I cant help it. The bills pile up and things go broken and there is just no money. I know girl, but hang in there. Keep your chin up. Big hugs to you.
Keeping you and the little one in my thoughts and prayers.
Hang tough girl.
Hugs,
Tammy
Let me tell you, you are not alone. My sister and BIL lost everything and had to move in with her daughter. She's almmost 60 years old, and they have nothing. I will be praying for you and your son. I am so glad your husband has a decent job. some can't even get a job. Hang in there things will get better.
