Zero Visibility!!!!

Noooooooooooooooooooope, not snow! At least not for us up here on Lake Ontario anyhow:(

They ARE calling for 2-4 today into tonight but who knows. I AM hoping!!!!!!!!!! It IS Dec 4th, time for some snow eh?

The zero visibility I'm talking about it this,

zeroVisibility

This is my F A V O R I T E ice cream of all time, Perry’s pumpkin pie, Southern Apple Pie and White Christmas follow.

Buffalo, N.Y. – Jan. 25, 2007 – There’s a storm front moving into freezers across the region and the forecast is calling for Perry’s Zero Visibility.  Perry’s Ice Cream, Buffalo’s regional ice cream company located in Akron, N.Y., is digging out its blustery flavor in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Blizzard of ’77.

Zero Visibility, with mixed precipitation of coconut rum ice cream and flurries of shredded coconut pieces, is sure to melt in consumers’ mouths.  The only shovel required for this whiteout is a really big spoon.

Perry’s first launched Zero Visibility in 1997 to mark the 20th anniversary of the Blizzard of ‘77.   “Most Western New Yorkers remember where they were when the blizzard hit 30 years ago,” said Brian Perry, executive vice president and vice chairman, Perry’s Ice Cream.  “We created this memorable flavor for consumers to enjoy as they reminisce about the storm.”

I wait EVERY year for this goodness to come out, some years forgetting about it because its cooler debut is only for a couple of weeks!

You can BET this year I will be standing at the ice cream coolers waiting!!!

Special thanks to all who commented on my last post about my mom. She was a wonderful lady that loved life and her family. She would do anything for anyone, no matter what it was! She had a long and very hard battle with lung and bone cancer! I am glad she is at peace now and in no more pain but miss her terribly. It took me a long long time to realize that I cant just pick up the phone and call mom anymore. Still to this day when something good, or bad happens I reach for that phone!

So enough with the sadness, how is everyone doing?

Tomorrow is Open House at my booth and I am so excited to see what sells. Remember my cheese boxes I got a few months back? Well I picked up 3 more and this is how they turned out….

Stacked like they are they hit at my hip and I am 5’2 so they are fairly large and quite impressive!

Stay tuned as Ill be posting Christmas at my booth pics………..

Have a good one:)

So sorry to read about your Mom passing. I know the hurt in your heart as anyone who has lost a loved one.. But if they knew the Lord, they are at peace.. We just have to rest in that assurance.

Now for your cheese boxes.. they turned out super great...I"m working on some smaller ones... dragging my feet on finishing touches on them...
Hope they turn out even close to as good as yours..

Blessings,
Maurine

So very sorry about your mom,it's always hard losing loved ones especially around the holidays (( BIG HUGS)) to you! I'm gonna have to look for that ice cream, I don't think I've ever seen those flavors here in PA.

Jenn, I know exactly how you feel. I still "forget" for a few seconds that I can't grab the phone and call my Mama either. We are both glad they are no longer suffering, but the pain of loss goes deep and will always be there in our hearts. But I know we WILL see them again!

I know you will do great at your open house! I wish I was close enough to go!

I have never heard of that ice-cream but it sounds sooooo good!

Have a great weekend!

You got me on that opening Jenn!
I hadn't watched the news and thought you got a snow storm.
Anyhow the ice cream sounds yummy.
We felt that blizzard pretty good too right here in the middle of Ohio.
good luck on the open house.

SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR MOM. I CONSIDER MYSELF VERY LUCKY TO STILL HAVE MINE EVEN IF SHE DOES LIVE 900+ MILES AWAY. SHE'LL BE 83 ON CHRISTMAS DAY.

Hahaha! I thought you were getting a blizzard or something!
I've never heard of that ice cream - sounds delicious. There isn't anything better than a bowl of ice cream with a cup of coffee in the winter!
I'm more of a plain jane...vanilla is my favorite.

Stay warm!

I still want to talk to my Mom..so bad. I have so much I want to tell her. I guess this is how life is. Someday we will have the chance to pour our hearts out to our Moms. At least our Moms are not in pain now. That does make me feel somewhat better.

Gotta try that blissful ice cream!!

Friends,
Susannah
