So it was either a cheesecake or..... lemon square delights!

I chose the lemon square delights. This is such an awesome springy dessert.
If ya have time and the stuff on hand I suggest whipping up some for Easter tomorrow. I know Im a little late in posting, my bad! Ive been LOVIN this weather....just cant get over it in fact. We usually still have snow around these parts this time of year. In fact, I remember the last 3 Easters it was bone chilling cold!

Lemon Square Delights

CRUST: 1 STICK MARGARINE
2 TSP. POWDERED SUGAR
1 CUP FLOUR
1/2 CUP CHOPPED NUTS

MIX TOGETHER AND BAKE AT 350' FOR 15 MINUTES.
(LET COOL 1 HR.)

FIRST LAYER: 1 1/2 CUPS OF COOLWHIP
1 CUP POWDERED SUGAR
1 8oz. CREAM CHEESE BEAT AND SPREAD ON CRUST


SECOND LAYER: 2 PKG. INSTANT LEMON PUDDING
3 CUPS COLD MILK BEAT AND SPREAD ON 1st LAYER


THIRD LAYER: SPREAD PLAIN COOLWHIP OVER TOP LEAVING 1/2 BORDER, THEN SPRINKLE WITH CHOPPED WALNUTS.


REFRIGERATE.

I just finished making this!!!! Love it.... got the recipe from my mom, we haven't had it for a few years so I figured I'd make it this year & it is GOOD :) Can't wait to dig into it tomorrow!!!

I know what you mean about the weather.....it has been in the 80's here in western PA the past couple days & after this past winter all we want to do is be outside!!!
