Cupboard Makeover

I can finally post pictures of the cupboard makeover.
I wanted to wait til I put it in the shop before I posted!

Remember this?

Well it from that to this.....

It seemed to take a long time from start to finish because it took 4 coats of black paint before I could dry brush the red on. Once I got to that point it went quick!!

We got it settled into my booth last Saturday and I forgot my camera:(

Im hoping to go in this Saturday and see a sold sign on it:) I can hope eh!??

Not too much else going on around here. Kids are home all week for winter break and Ive been making up a few new rabbits from Kentucky Prims patterns. I just love her work!! Ill post new pics when Im all done!!

I had my 3 month Ortho check yesterday for my ankle and knee. No real change in the ankle so surgery will be up to me. Im in no hurry as it doesnt really bother me all that much unless Im on it alot. And then, I just take a pain pill. My knee has alot of arthritis and the wire in there is rubbing against the patella causing ALOT of grinding when I bend it. He suggested a simple surgery to remove the wire and would put me at 3 weeks of recov time, but I opted out. Ide rather do it all at once, the ankle and knee....no sense in having another surgery unless it gets to a point where I cant stand it anymore!

We're off this weekend to the mall for clothes for Jas and I. Its been so long since Ive actually bought myself clothes...I buy for the kids before I do myself. We got our tax refund so now is the time. Im also looking to get a WII and maube a new sewing machine:)

Have a great weekend!!!

After receiving numerous bad comments I have decided to turn on comment moderation. I absolutely hate this feature and having to type in the codes myself but I wont put up with annonymous bad comments anymore! Sorry!

Jenn....I love the lines of the cupboard and you did a great job on it. I bet it won't last long at the shop. Enjoy your week.

WOW, if I lived closer and had a truck I'd buy that cutie up for a lil corner in my house and fill it with goodies!

Was looking at your blog and love the cupboard makeover.
In reading about your ankle and knee. I work as a surgical scrub tech with Ortho being one first love. The wire doesn't sound good. Did your doctor explain the complications that can come from leaving the wire in place and rubbing? Did he mention the possibilities of a total knee in the future due to it? Just hate to see you have bigger complications down the road. Just wanted to share some expert advice, no harm intended.

Morning Jenn, first off...it's okay to moderate. I would too if I got bad comments. Not sure just what some people are up to but there are always a few who make it rough on everyone else....seems so strange why a SMALL GROUP OF PEOPLE WITH ISSUES 'RULE'...strange huh? It's that way with everything...if THEY don't like something we CONFORM....that way in all walks of life...

OKAY...ENOUGH OF THE BANDWAGON STUFF...LOL

I love your re-do on the cabinet - the colors are fabulous.

Gosh I hope your knee starts feeling better soon - it has been a long road for you hasn't it.

I'm with Karen...people who have bad stuff to say are just mean. Didn't their Mother's teach them: If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything! Rude people suck. Love the cabinet :)
