New Offerings

Happy Friday to ya!

Was a short week eh? LOVIN that!

Ive only worked on a few dolls this week, well, actually they have taken me 2 weeks. You see, Im on my last box of MG fiberfil and afraid to use it up. Silly isnt it? Ive got a bunch of fall things cut out waiting to be sewn but not sure what to do about stuffing them. I can NOT stand that real silky fill that Walmart sells and I SO REFUSE to pay $17-$20 per box of fill at Joanns, just not gonna happen! So Ive been kinda saving what Ive got for a few special dolls.

Not sure what this means for the future either!

This is Ida Mae

Another vintage quilt bear

A couple of "olde" raggedies

Well....the lawn is a calling so I better get on the mower, have a wonderful weekend!!

Hi Jen,
I love your new creations!
So what are you going to do about the fill????
You must be able to find it at wholesale someplace....hope you find what you want.

All very cute..I keep telling everyone to try out 2 pack pillows at the dollar store, or any pillows on sale, to me it is very good stuffing, not the slick stuff, bonus you get fabric to use with it...I've also picked up used pillows at very clean rummage sales this year..I have never used Morning Glory, so I'm not sure what the fuss is about..is it really that inexpensive??
Hope this gives you an idea! I know they are trying to get Walmart back on track with it,,see a lot of posting on FB about it.
Blessings,
~Ronda~

Hey Jenn: You've been very busy...cute stuff.....you should check to see if you can get the fill wholesale at darice. Were you thinking of Nature's Garden for the modifier? Have a great weekend.

Jenn, all of your dolls are so special. Especially Ida Mae!

About the polyfil, I have used all kinds. While I don't care for the walmart kind, it's better than nothing in a pinch. I use it because its cheap and easy to get.

It will be on the inside, so I know your prims will look just as wonderful as always. Why not get just one bag and try it? Or have you done that already?

I hope you can find something you are happy with. I know you must be itching to create something by now.

Have a blessed week, my sweet friend!
